Romaine Bostick co-hosts Bloomberg Television’s “The Close” from New York. Additionally, Bostick helps lead cross-asset financial market coverage across all Bloomberg News platforms. Prior to joining Bloomberg Television, Bostick helped foster and manage the Bloomberg terminal’s TOPLive blogging platform as a newsroom editor. With a background covering corporate finance, mortgage-backed securities and government policy, Bostick orchestrated newsroom coverage of seminal events, including: the 2002 Tyco CEO scandal; the dawn of credit-default swaps; the 2007-08 financial crisis; the 2012 Affordable Care Act implementation; and the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Bostick also spearheaded a data mining project on more than 45,000 companies globally to monitor anomalies in earnings and cash flow trends. Before joining Bloomberg, Bostick held various editing and reporting positions at Kiplinger, Washingtonpost.com and the Daily Herald (Illinois).

Mayor of Cleveland, Ohio

Justin M. Bibb, the 58th mayor of Cleveland, is leading transformative change to modernize city services and uplift communities. His administration has launched impactful initiatives like the Southeast Side Promise program and a $100 million housing investment fund to expand affordable housing and revitalize neighborhoods. Through the Raising Investment in Safety for Everyone (RISE) initiative, Cleveland saw a 36 percent drop in homicides complemented by record-high police recruitment. Mayor Bibb is reconnecting Cleveland to its waterfronts, securing over $150 million in funding to transform Lake Erie’s shoreline and engaging more than 5,000 residents to shape a master plan for increased access and economic development. His $5 billion Shore-to-Core-to-Shore initiative includes major public-private investments in the city center and Cuyahoga Riverfront. On the national stage, Mayor Bibb serves as president of the Democratic Mayors Association and co-chairs America is All In, advocating for climate action and equity. Bibb is also a national co-chair of Mayors Against Illegal Guns. A proud native of Cleveland’s Mt. Pleasant neighborhood, he earned a degree in Urban Studies from American University, studied social policy at the London School of Economics, and holds an MBA and JD from Case Western Reserve University. Mayor Bibb’s leadership is driving equity, innovation, and opportunity citywide.

Mayor Leonardo Williams

Mayor of Durham, North Carolina

Mayor Leonardo (Leo) Williams is a former teacher and school administrator. He was elected to the Durham City Council in December 2021 and sworn in as mayor in December 2023. Mayor Williams is a proud graduate of North Carolina Central University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Music Education and a master's degree in Educational Leadership. While attending NCCU, Leo met his wife, Zweli, and they are the proud parents of their son, Izaiah Williams. Mayor Williams was recognized twice by Durham Public Schools as Teacher of the Year and was also recognized by the Triangle Business Journal with a “40 Under 40” award for producing innovative practices in education. He transitioned from full-time educator to full-time small business owner when he and his wife opened Zweli's, the first full-service authentic Zimbabwean restaurant in the United States. While serving on the City Council, Mayor Williams continues to apply his experience and passion in education, entrepreneurship, and commitment to addressing deep social issues to make Durham a united community that provides safety and prosperity.
