Urban Elite Collective - Founder/CEO

As the CEO of UrbanElite Collective, Gordon meticulously crafts and executes strategic visions while collaborating closely with teams to drive growth initiatives and ensure the organization's sustained success. Before this role, he forged an illustrious career in financial services and wealth management with esteemed institutions such as Citibank and JP Morgan. A graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Business School, he has also dedicated over twelve years to serving marginalized communities as the EVP of Business Development at Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, America’s first community development corporation. Gordon successfully closed the largest real estate development deal in Bedford Stuyvesant’s fifty-year history, creating more affordable urban housing in New York City. Gordon enjoys the great outdoors through activities like gardening, tennis and golf. He partakes in (mostly) friendly competition against pals he has been playing for decades.

Seasoned Real Estate lending professional with broad expertise in the origination, structuring, negotiation and management of all types of real estate related properties. Additional experience related to the negotiation and restructuring of "problem loan" assets necessary for timely resolution and loan loss recovery. Presently focused on providing capital for BIPOC developers utilizing traditional and innovative financing solutions to create equitable distributions of both human and financial capital resources. Specialties: Affordable Development financing expertise with Federal, State and City governmental subsidy providers. Also focused on building relationships with, and advising faith-based organizations seeking to develop housing as part of their mission to serve the community.

Jeff Lawrence
Jeff Lawrence, Managing Director of Affordable Housing based in Atlanta, GA, has over 25 years of real estate experience, including originating both market rate and affordable loans, underwriting, analysis, and portfolio management. Jeff has extensive experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD loan programs. Prior to joining Berkadia, Jeff served as Managing Director/Senior Vice President at Walker & Dunlop. Prior to Walker & Dunlop, he served as Vice President at CWCapital LLC within the Multifamily Finance Platform. Jeff received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Morehouse College and a MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Wells Fargo - Director, Multifamily Capital
Horatio W. Jones
Horatio Jones is a Managing Director for Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital, which specializes in government sponsored enterprise (GSE) financing executions offered by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), and direct balance sheet lending programs offered by Wells Fargo Bank, NA. Since establishing Wells Fargo’s Multifamily Capital office in Florida, Horatio has originated and closed +$1.5B in non-recourse debt executions, primarily used to acquire or to enhance the capital structure on single properties or portfolios of multifamily assets. Asset classes include conventional, affordable, student and seniors housing. Clients include high net worth individual investors, institutional investors, family offices, etc. Prior to his current role, he served as a Vice President and Relationship Manager in Wells Fargo’s Real Estate Banking Group. Horatio started his finance career in 2002 with First Union / Wachovia Bank, a Wells Fargo predecessor, as an analyst in the Corporate Development / Mergers and Acquisitions group. He also spent time as an analyst within both the Retail Bank and the Corporate Planning and Analysis Division and he was a Business Banking Associate Relationship Manager. Horatio’s past and current professional affiliations include the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the National Association for Industrial & Office Parks (NAIOP), and he was recently selected and completed Wells Fargo’s Corporate and Investment Bank’s BOLD (Building Our Leadership Diversity) Program. He also currently serves an Executive Committee Member of the Board of Trustees for Tampa Preparatory School, as a member of The Foundation Board for Florida Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Bay, and as a member of the Board of Directors for Neighborhood Lending Partners. Horatio has a B.A. in Business Administration from Winston Salem State University and earned his M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He and his wife are the proud parents of three sons.

Vice President, Urban Investment Group at Goldman Sachs
Ronnie Wimberley is a Vice President in the Urban Investment Group (“UIG”) in Goldman Sachs. The Urban Investment Group deploys capital toward equitable economic development for low-income communities and has invested over $21.9bn to date to create and preserve affordable housing, improve community assets, support small businesses, and increase access to capital. Ronnie focuses on investments and acquisitions across US markets, including New York, Washington DC, Maryland, California, Florida, Connecticut, and states across the Deep South. Ronnie leads UIG’s Homeownership Access Initiative, a new strategic initiative designed to expand access to and preservation of homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income households in partnership with community lending partners. Since joining the firm, Ronnie has deployed nearly $1bn in capital commitments across debt, equity, tax credits, and community lending to finance mixed-use, affordable, and mixed-income development. Prior to joining UIG, Ronnie was a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group and the Bridgespan Group. Ronnie is a graduate of Duke University and Harvard Business School.
